I think we need to look beyond just the text neck into any activity that causes the rounded shoulder/posture eg typing at keyboard, computer reading. . In my case I am a pianist. Looking at music and then at the keys (50+years) played havoc with my neck and upper back, shoulder and arm. I just finished 16 sessions of OT and have learned many stretches and techniques to counteract and strengthen my muscles. I work with a trainer and also find deep tissue massage helpful

NO! Why would someone text over conversing with the actual person? What an antisocial and self-isolating act, no wonder mental illness is in the rise, down with technology #keepingitAmish

No, and why isn’t it called “Tech Neck” since it is not just from “texting”, but from any handheld “technology”. And it is also a catchier phase!

No worries with text neck. Grew up with constant reminders that remain with me today: head up, shoulders back, chest out, stomach in.

Whenever I see folks practicing text neck, I always remind myself to never let be that person. So far, so good. :)
