I had an experience 8 years ago. I was traveling with my wife & we were visiting family out west. I was blessed to be able to walk out of the hospital. The doctor told me that he didn’t think I was going to leave the hospital alive. Be aware of the symptoms of sepsis and don’t ignore any warning signs.

I had sepsis. It came on with extreme pain in a specific area and high temperature (105). My blood pressure also dropped rapidly .I was in intensive care for a week and 3 more weeks on the blood infection floor. I was in good health before and that helped me survive. I was on the strongest antibiotic for several months. It took about 6 months to feel normal physically again.
