I am a senior, and my mini labradoodle keeps me from just sitting around. We walk multiple times a day, play hide and seek, and she gets me laughing at her cute antics. Just wish dogs would live longer than they do.

To my mother and law, Bonnie, she has 2 mid sized pups, they are her little babies, there's no separating the 3 of them, and they've been together since her massive heart attack, that just about took her away from us, those precious little pups are a godsend to the entire family and worth their weight in gold, God has without a doubt, used these 2 small little blessings to keep her healthy and here with us on this earth these last 6 or 7 years, Thank You, God.

Gave them a routine. But beware... Assisted Living facilities may say they are pet friendly, but may add stress by outrageous pet charges that do nothing to help the senior care for their pet.

Kept him active on a daily basis (twice a day, in fact).

The health facility I work at has dogs come in and the patients face just lights up! It makes them forget their everyday worries.
