You are.
Just stop for 2 days and you'll feel the physiologic effect of a true caffeine withdrawal. Anything from a headache to flu-like malaise. Been there.

Caffeine isn’t bad for you but 5 cups may be too much. If you’re jittery without it, having insomnia, try to bring it down gradually, eliminating 1 cup per week until you get to being able to have 1-2 cups daily, which iisn’t harmful and can even be good for you.

I love coffee too I have 3-4 cups a day, and I think it's ok, I don't have any symptoms.

If you can't start your day without it then you're addicted. :)
It's not a big deal, though, unless you are having bothersome symptoms like headaches or problems sleeping. The main issue I have with caffeine is that when I drink it too regularly I do get addicted and then if I forget my coffee I get headaches and am crabby. This is pretty typical... Search for "caffeine" at webmd.com for more information.

Personally, I think you just answered your own question! Lol but I'm not a coffee drinker. I used to be but it caused anxiety. I don't drink pop or tea either.

if you're asking the question.... you likely know the answer.

If you decide to give up coffee slow it down gradually! A little isn't bad for you

I love coffee too... A cup of coffee in the morning is a good way to start your day, it keeps you alert and help with a few kinds of pain like headache, legs and back pain. You can drink 2-3 cups a day, however, you shouldn't drink coffee after 5pm. It could affect your sleep.

I know a lot of people enjoy coffee, I would rather drink water
