The tennis ball roll under the foot is a great relief for foot pain. Also consider calf raises as they strengthen supporting muscles and reduce reinjury.

invest in good shoes that give enough support - especially if you have flat feet. Makes a huge difference with plantar fasciaitis. Vionic are my fave.

Wear good supportive shoes and not flip flops which, down here in the coastal south, is a wardrobe staple! For plantar fasciitis and aching feet freeze a 16 ounce water bottle, slip into a pillowcase, and roll your arch on it (from the ball of your foot to your heel). Toe curls with towel on floor for strengthening and flexibility, and calf stretching on wedge or against the wall.

Rotate your feet and work on calf stretches by standing up and down on on the balls of your feet.

Wearing the correct type of shoe for workouts or working out barefoot is important so you don't injure other parts such as knees and lower back
