What Portion Control Strategy Do You Use?

Keeping a food diary using MyFitnessPal has helped me reign in portions and make better food choices. I also use a food scale or measuring cup when at home and in doubt about portions. It has helped me loose and keep off 30 pounds without going hungry!

I don’t use portion control, but I do intermittent fasting. I’m using the 16:8 ratio. I lost over 20 pounds this summer. Unfortunately I gained it back when I started back to work (I am a teacher). But I’m back on it with the new year and it is working again.
